Last weekend, I hosted a themed baby shower for my beloved sister who is having identical baby girls! We decided to use the title B is for Babees … hence I infused honey into some of my ingredients and the decorations were of course yellow and black.
The catering menu included:
Baked Brie with honey and pecans
Lemon ginger parsley hummus
Pineapple Chicken salad with almonds, craisens and blueberries and a vinegar honey dressing
Zucchini muffins with apple
Lemon bars and tarts
Chocolate mini cupcakes 
We continued the “bees” theme for the prizes and gave away jars of honey, sunflowers, lemon hand soap and lotion and a yellow apron. It was a wonderful time of fellowship for our family and friends to enjoy.
The food was “bee”utifully prepared by yours truly… and it truly was a labor of love for my sister who is also my best friend.
The sign over the mantle was a testimony of our belief that every life conceived is important to God. Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you.” 
What a great memory we will share of this day to shower the babees with gifts!
