Anne Taylor Catering was blessed to be a part of the Celebration of Life service for Jerry at his home on March 29th, 2014. We did not know Jerry, but enjoyed all the accolades of love and appreciation by his family members. He lived a wonderful 81 years, serving the Lord and blessing those around him with selfless love. He was from Norway and was very involved in his Viking heritage. In his memory, there were 150 family members who wrote letters and scrolls to Jerry and placed them in small Viking vessels to sail in the lake beside his home.
We served healthy appetizers, drinks and desserts including teriyaki meatballs, Asian pear salad, fruit kabobs, brie with raspberry compote and a lemon ginger hummus with vegetables. For our dessert, we served fluffy tiramisu shot glasses, lemon bars, red velvet and carrot cupcakes. It was the perfect menu for a beautiful Celebration in Fallbrook to remember Jerry’s life well-lived.
