After years of catering weddings, it was finally my turn to celebrate my own! As many of you know, I got married to my best friend, Ethan Cramer, on August 15, 2015. Other than the 108-degree weather, the day was absolutely perfect! We had it at the beautiful, newly developed, Galway Downs in Temecula and were supported by the all of the best vendors who went above and beyond to make this day extra special! I wanted to take a moment to give a special thanks to a few of our favorite vendors that I would recommend to everyone for all their special events.
Our photographer was Amanda Fietz with Faithfully Focused Photography. I have known Amanda for 15 years and can say she is a woman of incredible talent! Not only did she do an amazing job with our engagement and wedding pictures, she also did my hair and makeup that I loved! Carla Kayes with Carla Kayes Floral Design was there from the beginning, helping with decor ideas, colors and styles that fit my personality. Carla has such a creative skill set which included hand crafting our beautiful water color invitations, table numbers and guest book. I cannot even begin to share all the compliments we have received on the beautiful garland we stood under for the ceremony, the bouquets and table arrangements! It was more than I could have ever asked for! I trusted Carla so much, I told her to pick out and arrange all the flowers she thought would be best to go with my theme and I don’t think I could have imagined them to be any better! She is so incredibly talented and creative and really helped make my big day beautiful!
Then of course we had to cater our own wedding so that our wonderful staff could be there to celebrate with us! We had a wide array of appetizers from our meat, cheese and fruit platters, to chicken sausage kabobs with heirloom tomatoes, goat cheese stuffed cucumber cups with fig and caprese kabobs. Then for dinner served an Italian fare with our favorite lasagna; spicy red bell pepper creamy linguini with chicken sausage, kale and sundried tomatoes; roasted brussel sprouts and rainbow baby carrots with a balsamic glaze; apple salad with mixed greens, caramelized almonds, feta and craisins, Cesar salad, and gourmet rolls!
I was so excited to see all the details come together in what turned out to be the perfect day! It was so special to share this day with our family and friends! Thank you to all the vendors that that made my dreams come true on our special day!
