We are frequently asked by local churches to cater their retreats. These events are especially endearing to Anne Taylor Catering, because we are a Christian company. We understand the meaning and importance of “fellow shipping with one another” as it is commanded in the Bible. So we delight in helping out our fellow believers with their catering menus, such as the one we did for a Saturday woman’s retreat lunch, because all women deserve a time to get away and have a break from their daily routines. It was at a local church in Temecula, Rock Ridge Church.
The menu included:
- Asian Pear Salad with Feta, Craisins, and Caramelized Almonds with a Light Raspberry Balsamic Vinaigrette
- Baked Ziti with Chicken Sausage, Roasted Vegetables and a Red Wine Reduction
- Assorted Rolls and Butter
- Shortbread Cookies with a Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting with Strawberry and Kiwi Slices
- Sparkling Berry Punch and Lemon Water
Not only did the ladies from the retreat leave the retreat after enjoying our “fresh and healthy” cuisine, they also benefited by being filled up with God’s Word to carry on with their everyday lives in serving their husbands and families with what they learned.
Our business Life Verse from Matthew 5:16 says “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
We are blessed anytime we see the people of God gathering together with one purpose… to glorify Him.
